This the marker for Bryan Shannessy b 15 January 1806 or 1801 - County Limerick, Ireland; d 5 November 1878 - at his residence, located at 12th & Poplar, Cairo, Alexander Co., IL; buried 6 November 1878 - Cairo City Cemetery, Villa Ridge, Pulaski Co., IL. His wife Sarah, widow of Jacob Weldon, is buried next to him but her marker has fallen over and cracked in half. As soon as I can see about getting it fixed and upright I will take a picture of it too. She was b 1810 - 1811 her marker reads: DIED August 11, 1871 age 60. In her obit it says that the funeral was 13 August at the Church of the Redeemer.
